Fuel Reduction Works is a project of Mindful Citizen, an Ojai nonprofit.  Many Ojai residents are concerned by the presence of nonnative incendiary trees interspersed throughout our town.  In a wind-driven fire these trees could cast an ember storm across our town, potentially igniting multiple fires throughout the community, causing untold losses.     

We have completed our state required environmental review process and have mapped our project area in the Ojai Valley.  We look forward to working with property owners seeking fire safety assistance.
